Privacy Policy

Who we are
Wobzcards (operated by Wobz LTD, “we”, “us”) runs wobzcards.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you shop with us, why, and what rights you have over it. For anything not covered here, contact us at tom@wobzcards.com.
What data we collect
When you place an order, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your shipping address
- Order details (items purchased, quantities, amount paid)
We never see or store your full card details — payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor.
Your shopping cart is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) until you check out — it is not sent to us until then.
Why we process your data
We use your data to fulfil your order (processing payment, arranging delivery, providing customer support) and to meet our legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax records). This is processed on the basis of performing our contract with you, and our legitimate business interests and legal obligations.
Newsletter signup
If you voluntarily give us your email address to hear about new stock and offers, we store just that email address and use it only to send you those updates. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing tom@wobzcards.com.
Who we share it with
We share data with the third-party services that help us run the shop:
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe's privacy policy)
- Vercel — website hosting
- Neon — database hosting for order records
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (currently up to 6 years), after which they are deleted unless we need to keep them longer for a legal reason.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email tom@wobzcards.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Cookies
Our site itself does not use tracking or advertising cookies — your cart is kept in your browser's local storage, which is strictly necessary for the shop to work. When you check out, Stripe may set its own cookies on stripe.com to help prevent fraud, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
